Even though Alaric got up at 4:45 this morning ( so much for feeling great about getting him down at 6PM), he didn't realize it had snowed until almost 8AM!!!!
He came running into the room and said, "It's totally Christmas now!!! It snowed, it snowed, it snowed- now we can have Christmas!" ( He told us weeks ago that we couldn't have Christmas until it snowed).
So, before drop off at Kairos, I gave each kid ( we have Noah today) a popsicle stick and sent them to the driveway to play in the snow for a few minutes. They loved drawing pictures in the snow. It was Amara's first time to really play in the snow. She liked to lick it off her stick!
Al's a HAPPY BOY!!!
If only we all could find such great joy in simple things like the first tiny snowfall and drawing pictures in the driveway- Happy Monday everyone- hang in there!
