Merry Christmas from the Fultons!

‘Twas weeks before Christmas & all through the house
Brian Katie were stirring but not the mouse.
They were out running, you ask yourself why
Just completed their first 5K and have lost 64 pound in ‘09-oh my!

This has been such a tremendous year
Ups & downs & the need for some beer!
We’ve been busy- never a dull day
Each full of activities, we’ll tell you about them, OK?

Brian is still at Allerton & loving his work there
Pulling tons of hours in the summer & fall, sometimes
we think it’s not fair!
He’s gotten back on his bike & taken a few dips
He hopes for a major bike ride in June 2010-175miles-that’s some trip!

Katie is loving staying at home 4 days a week
She’s back at St. Matt’s on Tuesdays, adult interaction is
what she seeks.
The Moms Group, friends, church, & ZTA are enough
Katie is busy, happy, & getting really tough!

Alaric loves school- he’s at Kairos again
He’s into cars & trucks, Firefighters, & construction men!
He’s so smart & kind, you just want to give him lots of hugs,
He also loves eating, art, & sometimes bugs!

Oh Amara, she’s our little sweet girl
She’s into everything, she’ll give anything a whirl
She climbs, she jumps, & wants to be just like her brother
She’s so stinkin cute, even when she’s crazy, you gotta love her!

We took Obama’s challenge to serve our communities & others
Katie’s working harder at church & making lots
of meals for new mothers
Brian is back to cooking, this time at a shelter
for men who are homeless
He cooks, he smiles, he listens & he cleans up the mess.

Brian and Katie had their 5th anniversary and renewed their vows
They planned a huge party that was full of wows
A one-man-band, great weather, & family & friends
Our kids served as our best “people”; it was special, ‘til the end.


No big vacations in 2009
Little get-aways to Chicago & to see family were just fine
February will take Brian and Katie to SPAIN
We are visiting our friends in the military & can’t wait
to get on the plane.

We hope for great things in this next year to keep us above the fog
