I got home from Chicago and we got ready for the Christmas Parade in Downtown Monticello. We love this event! The kids were ready for the floats and the candy!
The street looked beautiful! And as I looked across the street, I saw my friend from HS, Lucas and his wife Leslie and their daughter Brooke. They were in town to see Santa on the train and stayed for the parade. It was great to catch up and watch the parade together.
The floats were fun and we loved seeing lots of friends we knew!
But of course, the highlight was SANTA!!!! The kids screamed and Santa smiled! What an amazing small town tradition!
