What a perfect fall day!!!

Alaric, Noah, Amara, and I headed to the Pumpkin patch in Deland-Weldon for Alaric's preschool field trip. Each kid got a chance on the swing.

Noah....

Alaric on the horse swing...

And Mara!

I can't believe she let me take this posed shot! So stinkin' cute.

Within moments, Alaric was in heaven as he sat in a box of corn with endless dumptrucks, mixers, and tools around him.

The haybales were perfect for dumptrucks!

Al did well for his posed shot too!

Can you tell Alaric is done taking pics? Such a trooper for mommy!

Throwing hay at her is the ticket to giggles!

The pumpkin house became the dance house for lots of little ones!

The pumpkin house was a favorite of Mara's

Mrs. Winterbottom ( Al's preschool teacher) calls everyone over

We looked at all the pumpkins and gourds and loves seeing the chickens all over the farm.

The kids got to have snack in the barn ON THE HAY!!! Even better, the snack was a birthday treat. The kids thought it was pretty special to be eating cupcakes on hay!

Everyone got to pick out a small pumpkin to bring home.

Alaric, Amara, and Noah work together to get the pumpkins to the car.

When we got home, we realized our next door neighbors were having a new roof put on! We went running over to check out the work and see the progress! Alaric could watch any sort of construction workers for hours!

They had made lots of progress while we were at the farm with the promise of being completely done in only two days!

Mara takes a stroll down Charter Street

The ladybugs have taken over. With harvest in full force and the cold weather hitting, the ladybugs are filling the air- thousands and thousands of them. Hundreds make it in our front room alone. Don't judge the cobwebs in the corners of my door. Check out all the specks (those are bugs)

After naptime, we headed outside to play with all the neighbors. Staci, Katlyn, Mara, and Addison head across the street to see the other neighbors get a new roof too ( thanks to the terrible storm in May).

back to the Smith's house to play in the leaves that are falling rom the trees by the bushels each day! Snack on a blanket, endless leaves, a swingset, and the best neighbors ever- my dream afternoon!

Hannah loves fall!

Fall is Amara's favorite season, for sure!

A choo choo train down the slide!

Drinking beer with our incredible neighbors-did I tell you this was my perfect afternoon!!!

Swingset fun!

Then, to top it all off- my parents came over for a steak dinner to celebrate my Dad's birthday! I didn't take any pics of the kids and their grandparents but I did take two pics of the food- hmmm....not sure what that means.
This is what my mom and my plate looks like as we don't eat steak...chicken with white wine, mushroom and onion sauce, sweet potatoes, and aparagas.

Brian and my dad had the same plate with with a huge steak!
It was an absolutely JOYFUL DAY AND NIGHT!!! We are so very blessed! Happy fall everyone!
