As we waited in line to get in, we saw this beautiful wind turbine and signs that read this The Harvest Moon Drive-In is the FIRST Drive-In IN THE WORLD powered by wind!!! SO COOL ( we want one of these for our backyard- seriously!!!)
The weather was cold but the kids were dressed for the occassion and READY for the movie to start! They thought it was the coolest thing ever to be at an outdoor movie theater!
Before every show since the 1940's Harvest Moon has given free carousel rides and it was no different for us either- the kids loved it!
Just before the movie started ( we asked Al after we saw his weird hand what that was all about. His response...." it's my groovy hand!" Of course it is!)
The blankets and the hoodies were necessary and we were all tired on the way home but we loved it so much!
