Asthma Season has Arrived

Well, it's here and Amara's got it! Last year we struggled getting Alaric's under control and yesterday, sweet Mara was just the same- a constant, dry cough leaving her unable to get control of it and leaving Brian and I frustrated, scared and so sad for her!

Usually she likes to take Buba's inhaller but not yesterday. A few puffs during the day was all we could get. As her cough got worse, bribery worked the best and we tried for first time with the nebulizer. At first she was scared but sitting in daddy's lap, Elmo, and the promise of a sucker allowed her to stay in for about 5 minutes- better than nothing!

Brian, Alaric, and Amara now all suffer from Asthma, with the fall harvest time seeming to be the worst. We'll hang in there.
