Brian and I got dressed up too!
After a beautiful service on finding hope and goodness in our lives, we headed outdoors in the cold drizzle for the special dedication. We all lined up around the Labyrinth. Dad gave a short history of the project and gave many thanks to all those who helped make this project happen.
So many people, including some of you contributed to my Dad's lanscaping project years ago for his 60th birthday. It started off as a fund to buy mulch and flowers and turned into a vision of my parents that took years to execute. Well worth the wait!
The kids were great outside and although we did lots of ups and downs from arms to the ground, they all made it through the 15 minute service!
Then our pastor, Heidi, blessed the Labyrinth and Garden and did the official dedication.
Katie, Brian, Alaric, and Amara Fulton. Dave and Ann Bechtel. Dan, Jen, and Veronica Bechtel.
One view of the Garden/Labyrinth. The tables, benches, stepping stones, bushes, and all plantings are part of the project. One of the two markers on each side as you enter the Labyrith
After the Dedication, we headed over to the Foundation Westminster Hall for our annual Thanksgiving Celebration. Our church community and students from Presby Hall came together- there were over 150 people!

Obviously, there is a Dharma Initiative station located directly under the "labyrinth." I'm on to your time-traveling parents -- they can't fool me.
What a special day for your family. The labyrinth looks amazing! Next time we're in Champaign we'll have to go see it in person.
Very awesome.
