We made it from cardboard and pasta and rice, spray painted and then bling added!

The kids spent days working on this and it turned out really great!  brian immediately put it on his bar in the basement!

After jake's party, we had Addison and Aubree's 5th birthday ( the twins I babysit).  It was a Pinkalicious Bowling Party.  So fun!

After the playdate, the kids and I went to our neighbor's Mario birthday party!  Alaric was so excited!  They had great games and an awesome pinata too!

Playdate with Good Friends!

Love my friends from Champaign.  We are now all over the country and were able to get together for a playdate this morning while the hubs all went golfing!

Not sure who had more fun...the kids to play or the moms to catch up!

Drive-IN

Tonight we decided to go to the Drive in in Gibson City.  We went with 5 other families and had a blast!

We went early and brought food.  It reminded me of a tailgate- so fun!!!

after eating some candy, we headed to my parents house to change and we trick or treated there too!

My girlfriend gave me her daughters matching outfits.  She wanted them to go to someone who would enjoy them.  I was so overjoyed...and these sweeties were SO excited to try every single one on!!!!  Check out their fashion show and their attitudes that go along with such fun outfits!

Brian's Half Marathon

Brian was so excited to get started on his Galesburg's 1st half Marathon!

and we were so excited to cheer him on.

The kids loved making the signs and Alaric even wrote RACING HOME!

We were positioned in the middle of nowhere, country road.

The rest of the family gathered to cheer to and we were all ready to go when we saw Brian again at mile 9.

It was 85 degrees and I knew he wasn't in the best shape when he decided to stop and talk to us.  He never stops!  The heat was getting to him, the blacktop and direct sun was brutal.  Bri assumed he wouldn't meet his goal.  He told us at mile 9 that he was going to take it slow, enjoy himself, and see us at the finish!

and off he went!

He did it!  And in 2 hours flat!  So proud of this man!
