Bob Fulton Retires

Well, we left the birthday parties and headed straight to Galesburg to help Brian's dad, Bob celebrate his retirement from Gunther/Denton Construction after 30 years.

This morning, Brian and Bob golfed with Bob's golf crew while Chris and I hung out at home with the kids in the back yard. They love to play with all of Brian's old toys-especially this old mixer truck that they can make real cement with out of water and sand!
They got messy and Mara was stripped down and they headed straight for the garage to spend eons on the John Deere mower! Isn't she classy?
Even better was the batting practice in the yard once Anita arrived!
Then we headed to cousin Katie's 16th birthday party! The trampoline is the best toy ever!
Look at my men!

Look at the concentration
This picture cracks me up because Brian and Tyler were playing basketball with the kids while the others hung out at the table and then the Sweet 16 girl decides she has some math homework questions and wanted to ask her Aunt Chris while she could. So, here she is at her party doing homework. No wonder she gets straight A's!
Look at Ty showing Mara how to defend!!

One last jump before we leave!

Then we headed to Lake Bracken Country Club where Bob thought he was having family dinner but NO! His co-workers planned a wonderful retirement party in his honor! Cheers BOB!
Retirement will mean more trips to see these two sweeties!
The whole family!
Congratulations Grandpa! I love you!
Bob recieved a very nice gift certificate from the company to buy a new set of gold clubs!
Bob introduced us all, and head a few words about his time at the company, his mentor who founded it, and his plans for the future.
It was a wonderful celebration and we all had such a great time honoring Bob Fulton! Congratulations! We love you!
