Skate for Breast Cancer...Skate for Mara

Tonight was my alumnae chapter for my sorority's annual fundraiser for Breast Cancer at Skateland! It was also part of Amara's Christmas gift...a family night out skating- something she loves to do!

We had a great time together as a family and with others and enjoyed skating and eating yummy pizza.
We were most impressed by our kids- they were amazing! Amara chose her plastic skates she wears over her shoes instead of the rentals but she rocked it. She was skating by herself!!! She cried and screamed and hollered when we had to drag her off the rink to go home!

And Alaric rallied. After a few falls he wanted to quit but we pushed him and he was awesome. He's got lots of coodination work to do but we were so proud of him and we all had so much fun.
