Amara had her first beater unassisted on the floor. SO stinking cute!
Then we got dressed and the kids decided a diaper box was their new favorite toy. They played for almost a half hour with the box!
OUr church does an outdoor worship at a park nearby once a year. No childcare and an outside space is NO GOOD for my kiddos so we opted for the nearby playground instead. We made it even more fun by picking up Alaric's friend from church, Eleanor and her Uncle Mark who wanted to give Eleanor's mommy a break who had just had surgery.
HEre Amara drives away on the Rhino
Mara swings and Alaric and Eleanor pretend to be monkeys and crawl under the swings.
Uncle Mark shows the kids a beetle on the ground.

Eleanor tries a new way of riding the elephant.
Then we headed to Mike and Jane Cain's house for a wonderful picnic.Daddy came home after naptime and we turned the driveway into our own waterpark. Sippy cups, beers, and water- what a great combination!
Alaric has never been through a sprinkler until today. Not that he didn't have opportunitites but rather did not want to get his head or face wet. Today he was a new man! We couldn't keep him out of it! He ran, he jumped, he drank the water, he got his bottom in it, and more. It was joy to watch him!
