Aunt Anita comes to visit!

Brian's sister, Anita, took a few days off to see us in Monticello. She got here Tuesday afternoon and she and I were able to catch up while the kids napped. When they all got up, we headed next door to the Smiths to play and hang out. We brought our pool- empty- as it is a crowd pleaser for all! Anita and Mara loved it!

We went to DQ that night and spent 4 hours on the back patio drinking beer and hanging out after the kids went to bed- it was a blast!

Wednesday Brian took off work! Alaric wanted to wear his new Cubs jersey so Daddy dressed to match ( check out Al's battle wounds from the run in with the treadmill)!

We had hoped to go to the pool but the rains kept us away- instead we headed to the mall- can't beat the carousel! Amara WOULD NOT STOP WAVING!!!!!!! She loved it so much!

Then we headed to the coin toys. Alaric and Amara liked this one because it had two seperate seats and lit up on the inside.

After naptime, we headed to the bowling alley in Monticello. Alaric loved the computers.

He bowled better than me, seriously. We had bumpers too!

Mara's first time bowling!!!! She pushed the ball and then tucked her head under the bar so she could see where it was going!
