We are Home from Iowa! Patience is a virture!

It was a super long day today! At the hospital at 7:30, first procedure done by 10. 4 Hours to kill before the next one so we headed to the mall to meet the cousins and the kids at the Children's Museum and to have lunch ( poor Bri actually SHOPPED around the mall instead of sitting with us in teh food court because he was still fasting and very crabby and hungry.

Back to the hospital by 2. Done with the second procedure by 3:45. Waited for more labs 'til almost 4:20 and finally,by 4:30, Brian had had his first sip of water and a cookie...more than 17 hours of fasting with no water either.

Swooped in the get the kids ( who had an amazing day with their cousins), on the road by 5:15 and walked in the door here in Monticello about 9:30PM! We are tired.

We have no answers. Since it was late Friday afternoon, there was no time for anyone to review his paperwork. We hope to hear from the doctor early next week to see if they found something we can move forward with or if it will be back to the drawing board. While we do hope we return to DO something sooner, we do have a scheduled appointment again December 14th!

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers! We'll keep you updated along the way! Thanks for being on this journey with is!
