We've heard from Iowa. He does not have any condition related to his biliary system. No stone, no sphincter of the Odi. No dysfunction. Nothing. GI track looks good, biliary system looks good. Only thing left is his liver. So, we keep chugging along. We have an appointment back in Iowa on December 14th but are trying to get in sooner. Brian's specialist doesn't really "do" the liver ( unless its because of a disfunction in the GI or Biliary system). So, Brian is going to go to his primary doc again and see if he can t get a liver biopsy here and start some more extensive liver exams here, instead of at Iowa. AND- we still have our Barnes appointment on the 16th if we need it...and we might.
So- no answers yet. Just more to check off the list. Not much left to even look at. The not knowing is the worst and the waiting and the wondering. It's exhausting. We are exhausted. I'm exhausted and its not even happening to me.
