Sesame Street Live

Amara LOVES Sesame Street. So much so, she had a Sesame Street B-Day PARTY that included all of her favorite characters. Her cousin, Veronica also adores Sesame Street. She too had a SS party for her 2nd birthday. Alaric loves them also (not as much as the girls though). He had a SS party for his 2nd birthday too. WOW! As you can see, Sesame Street is pretty important to us! There's only one person I know who loves Sesame Street more than V or Amara- and that's my mom!!!!!!!! She always has. Even before we had kids, she might stop on PBS for a moment or two while channel surfing. Now that her grandchildren are around, it gives my mom, and thus my dad- full rein to watch whenever they want. So when SS LIVE was coming to Champaign, I knew my parents and all of us would HAVE to go.

Wow! What a night! It started at Monicals with Grammy and Papa, Uncle Dan, Aunt Jen, and V ( baby Jack had to go to his other grandparents) and us and it was crazy! Everyone there had someone under the age of 5 and they were all headed to the Assembly Hall for SESAME STREET LIVE!!!

The show started and it was wonderful!!!! We had amazing seats and the whole theme was about Super heros. While I didn't think Alaric would go crazy, he may have enjoyed it more than anyone! It was really fun! The kids ran between parents and grandparents to sit on laps and snuggle and take it all in. Lots of jumping and dancing and singing by the characters AND us!

What fun we had!!
