Kairos Preschool Auction

If you've talked to me at all in the past 3 months, you know I was one of the committee chairs for Alaric's preschool auction. It's been very involved, very time consuming, and very fun! Today was the big day and it was great. Here are some of the live auction baskets!
We had 100 very impressive baskets to auction off!
And more than 65 silent auction items too!
The theme for this year was Carnival and there were even clowns, including Brian's friend, Betty from Allerton! Alaric loved the clowns!
Brian was in charge of the lunch and he and his team did an amazing job and had a lot of fun!
Tons of families came to the lunch to eat, talk , and play carnival games before the auction!
The special treat of the day was when the Kairos kids gave a short, very short ( less than 4 minutes) performance of spring songs! They were so cute! Can you see Al in the 2nd row in the blue shirt?
Look at the focus!
This picture isn't great but can you see Alaric? He loved singing these songs in public and when Mrs. McFarland told everyone to sing louder, everyone could hear Al!
Then, while Brian and his team cleaned up from the lunch, the live auction began. We raised more than $10,000 in less than 3 hours!

What fun it was...but I'm glad it's over!
