My girlfriend, and her two kids, dyed silk scarves for Alaric's b-day gift and put them in the mail. Alaric loves them! They hang from windows and become flames he can put out as a firefighter, they turn into forts when he drapes them over tables, and most fun...they become capes so he and Amara can become instant super heros!
Last week we went to the Illini basketball banquet. It was so fun! Even though it was a frustrating season, its always nice to be part of the recap, see all the players, and celebrate the Illini!
