We left Galesburg this morning after spending a night in Galesburg to drop the kids off and drove straight to Chicago to leave our car at our friend's, The Murrays. Joe went out to lunch with us and then dropped us off at Ohare. Entering Ohare was truly the first time we even had a chance to comprehend we were about to leave our kids and the US for a week!
The plane ride was what we expected, BRUTAL! Even our Ambien didn't help us sleep. We spent almost 8 hours on the flight...
Had a 4 hour layover in the Madrid airport and arrived in Jerez, Spain Friday afternoon to our Best Friends, Heather & Justin Boyd and daughter Olivia!!!!
