Our cousin Katie came to visit for a few days and the kids LOVED IT! Constant attention! These were pretty common faces when she was here....
Today was the Kirby Derby and us, along with hundreds of others participated in the 5K/10K! We love when friends decide to run together as a family- looking great, Germans!
This was first 3 mile run since last June! I was nervous! We were all excited that Katie was joining us!
So proud of this little boy's commitment to running!
The home stretch....almost there. I was struggling some. Only stopped when Bubba stopped but my feet would move fast. Katie and Brian and Bubba ran ahead!
Thanks for running with us Katie, we hated having to say goodbye at the race!
Now it was time for the kids race...and for the first time in 3 years, Amara was really excited to do this all on her own. ( can you seen her jumping?)
So fun loving...took the time to greet her fan!
She did it!
