The other day we took in our neighbor's softball game where Amara had her first popsicle. it looks like it went well here but I'm not sure she's quite ready....we'll keep trying- especially on days like today.
My girlfriends and I decided to do a playdate today. Since we thought it was going to storm, we had it at the indoor playground at First Christian Church in Champaign. It was actually sunny but thank God we did it inside-we wouldn't have lasted 20 minutes at a park-plus we had 3 babies under 6 months.Alaric and Charlie drive the fire truck!
Oh Wait, I mean Alaric, Charlie, Cameron, and Samantha all try to drive the truck!
Mara found herself in the lego pit. You put your kid IN the pit and they sit amounst the legos and play along the outside-Brilliant!
Alaric and Samantha ( and some others) play movie theatre. You can play by going up to the window and buying your tickets and concessions.
Mommy went down the tunnel slide with the kids ( it's the only slide I fit in)

We headed to Grammy and Papa's for lunch and had them home and in bed for naptime by 1:25- what a morning! Get ready for some great pics with the same kids after next weekend's RIBFEST!!!!
