We headed to Mattoon tonight to see Brian's cousin, Tyler, play in a state tournament. We had a blast. We tailgated in the 100 degree weather when we first got there around 6PM while we waited for the game to start.
It was a beautiful field and ironically, they were playing the other team from Galesburg.
T-Y ( as his teammates call him) took the pitchers mound and did a great job!
We loved every second of the game and the kids were amazing. They found other preschoolers and just took off. Here they are playing with one of the little boy's bag of action heros.
The team lost but we had a great time anyway.
After the game, we headed out for icecream and spent the next hour or so just catching up with Brian's aunt and uncle whom we love. It was a wonderful trip. We'll see everyone again in two weeks at the Art Nelson Golf Outing and Nelson Family Reunion!!!!
