Oh Poop...and other family fun!

The last few days have been such a blessing for our family. We've been together 24 hours a day since Monday and will be through Friday. We have laughed so much, told so many stories, and just gotten to be together.

The grandchildren were in charge of putting together a bulletin board with pics of grandpa. Here 5 of the nine granchildren laugh and tell stories while they put together the board.
Here Mara and Alaric are having snack on the kitchen floor at Nana and Grandpa's yesterday. They entertained themselves for atleast 30 minutes. Anita, Bri, and I just sat at the table and watched and talked.

HUGE NEWS!!!!!!!!!!! Alaric pooped in the potty. THIS IS MAJOR!!!! We are pee pee potty trained but have been working on the pooping thing for months and months. He went!!!!!! He's been told he could get a party as soon as he pooped in the potty so sure enough, we had a party- just for him! We wanted to go buy something at the store but OH NO- we had to make a cake with frosting and sprinkles. Alaric just wants to be part of the fun!

Then, we sat around the table and just watched Alaric. He was SO funny. He was so excited to tell everyone that " I went poopy in the potty and my poopy went PLOP!" We recorded it!



Even funnier happened immediately following. He didn't take a nap in the afternoon. He was rediculously tired. We look over at him and he's spreading frosting on his face. He looked high...he was slurring his words, eyes rolling back in his head, etc. Again, super funny video below!
